January 2010 – Warriors For Autism was a significant advocacy group in the Tampa Bay Community. We decided to expand our mission to provide direct services and inclusive programs to families on the spectrum.

June 2010 - We started our first program, WFA Summer Horse Camp program.  An inclusive day camp for children on the spectrum and their siblings on a working horse farm!

September 2013 –We created the "Sensory Warriors" program.  Where children on the spectrum and their siblings are able to learn adaptive martial arts while enjoying sensory play.

June 2016  - The Warrior Fitness & Sensory Center will open the doors to its new SENSORYTOPIA with the mission to provide individuals on the spectrum despite age or functionality levels the chance to experience our fun & fitness concepts.

OUR HISTORY

A NOTE FROM OUR Founders

Never underestimate the passion and tenacity of parents with special needs children!

Seventeen years ago when our son was born, we never dreamed that he would set us on a path that would so impact the entire way we saw the world.  From being parents lost in the world of autism with very limited options for treatment or support, we are now in a position to offer safe environments for parents to bring their families and know that they will never be judged.

Thanks for the support that’s made it all possible!
